PORTALS RTG will implement and manage a shell
website for each property. The purpose of the web site is primarily for product
and services marketing, internal property communications and existing resident
enhancement. Each property will have a start page that quickly reveals
to the resident or consumer the sites scope or the services offered (categories).
This site will be customized to the specific property including logos, pictures,
management names and categories. Each of the categories may contain up to 10 links
customized to the property. Links to property services, such as the high speed
Internet supplier, will have subsequent pages that explain the amenities offering.
Categories such as Property Bulletin will exist as templates under the setup and
control of the property manager. Sections such as Apartment Info may be a custom
creation, or may simply have a write-up and a link to an existing property website.
A Neighborhood and Apartment Values section could be included with a private
branded information posting and shopping cart system, hosted by a third party
service center. This ?mini mall? could contain items and links to any number of
value products that would be of interest to the residents. All e-commerce purchases
made through the portal would generate shared revenue for the property. Order,
processing, and fulfillment would be handled outside of the property management,
thereby assuring resident privacy and a hassle free program. An important
purpose of this site is to facilitate communications between all parties. The
residents, through password control, could view billing and accounting reports
for all services, complete order entry forms for new services, view or file trouble
reports, and status reports would be conveniently accessible. For the site manager,
there will be notification ability via email services and efficient notification
for service and maintenance requests. For the owner or property management, there
will be continual postings of community activity, announcements and potentially
monthly service billings. For the technology service suppliers, there will be
order completion entry forms, contact numbers, and scheduling systems for task
management. Copyright 2000-2004©
